Watch YouTube Videos on Google Maps

On Monday, Google LatLong announced that the search company has added a new feature to incorporate YouTube Videos into the Google Maps Results. This is great news for those small businesses that are having a tough time to differentiate themselves from the rest of the pack.
All you need to do is to upload the videos to YouTube, activate the Embed option, and make the association between your local listing with the videos in Google Local Business Center. The videos can be seen under the photos and videos tab in the “more info” bubble. Here’s a sample of a listing with the videos.

This new feature offers small businesses a chance to showcase their best products to potential clients and stand out from the competition.
On a side note, you can also now add up to 5 different categories for your business in the Local Business Center. This gives you five times the chance to be found by the searchers. All in all, this gives all businesses more reasons to add their company to the local search.
